How we build, collaborate, and treat each other on CodeTayo.
1. Build and share in good faith
CodeTayo exists to help people turn ideas into real things. Share your projects honestly, ask for genuine feedback, and celebrate progress at all stages — whether you're building a small script or a full-fledged startup.
2. Welcome all builders and skill levels
Our members range from students just starting to write code to experienced hackathon winners and founders. Treat every question with patience and curiosity. There is no prestige gatekeeping here.
3. Zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination
We do not tolerate harassment, hate speech, bullying, condescension, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, university background, or experience level.
4. Keep collaboration genuine (No spam or pushy sales)
CodeTayo is a builder community, not a billboard or lead list. Do not send unsolicited sales pitches, blast affiliate links, or mass message members to promote outside services. Meaningful project sharing and hackathon team-building are always welcome.
5. Give constructive, actionable feedback
When critiquing projects or code, focus on the work, not the person. Point out strengths, suggest practical improvements, and offer resources that might help the builder solve problems.
6. Report issues and keep the space safe
If you encounter spam, inappropriate behavior, or security concerns, please let us know immediately by reaching out at hello@codetayo.tech.
