What CodeTayo is
CodeTayo is a student-friendly space for people who build with technology. Whether you are writing your first lines of code, designing interfaces, launching a startup, experimenting with AI models, or building indie projects, CodeTayo gives you a place to connect with peers who share that passion.
We are not a traditional, bureaucratic campus club or an exclusive accelerator. CodeTayo is an open, informal network built by students for students and builders everywhere.
Why it exists
Too often, builder talent in universities stays isolated within single campuses. Students don't know the developers at the school next door, the designers at another university, or the hackathon teams building down the road.
CodeTayo exists to bridge those gaps: connecting builders across universities, making opportunities accessible, and acting as a stepping stone into the wider Philippine and global technology ecosystem.

Built from the student community
CodeTayo was founded in Metro Manila by Jansen Cadorna, born out of the belief that the best way to learn and grow in technology is by building things together with other driven people.
We operate with low bureaucracy and high trust. We partner with and complement existing developer communities — like DEVCON Philippines, GDGs, and university tech societies — serving as a bridge for young builders taking their first steps.
